## What is Howmigo?

Howmigo is a library of step-by-step how-to guides. Each guide is organised into numbered steps with an illustration for each step so you can quickly see what you should be looking at before you act.

## Is Howmigo free to use?

Yes. Reading and searching guides is free and you do not need an account.

## Do I need an account?

Only for features that need to remember who you are, such as rating a guide, leaving a comment or saving favourites. Reading guides does not require an account.

## Who writes the guides?

Guides are prepared and published by the Howmigo editorial team. AI tools may assist with drafting, research, translation or illustrations, but published instructional content is reviewed before publication.

## Are the step images real photos?

No. Guide step images are AI-generated illustrations designed to show each step clearly and consistently. They are labelled as AI illustrations and may differ in detail from your exact equipment, product or environment. Always follow the written instructions and the manufacturer's documentation.

## How do I know a guide is safe to follow?

Read the whole guide before starting and stop if anything does not match what you see in front of you. Difficulty and estimated time are there to help you judge the task, but they cannot replace your own assessment. Work involving mains electricity, gas, fuel, brakes, steering, structural elements or other hazardous systems may require a qualified professional.

## Why illustrations instead of video?

A step image stays exactly where you need it. You can check one step at a time without scrubbing through a video while your hands are occupied.

## Can I request a guide?

Yes. Email hello@howmigo.com with the task you would like us to cover.

## Can I suggest a correction?

Yes. Comment on the guide or email hello@howmigo.com with **CORRECTION** in the subject line. Safety-related corrections are prioritised.

## How do ratings work?

Signed-in users can rate a published guide from one to five stars. Ratings help us understand which guides are useful and where improvements may be needed.

## How do the different languages work?

Use the language selector to choose a supported language. Translated guides can include a localised title, summary, tools, supplies and steps. Illustrations and guide identity remain shared across languages.

## Which languages are available?

English, Swedish, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, Polish, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish, Czech, Romanian, Hungarian, Greek, Turkish, Ukrainian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Hindi, Indonesian and Vietnamese.

## Can I reuse a guide on my own site?

You may link to Howmigo freely. Copying, republishing, systematically extracting or reusing protected Howmigo content requires permission unless applicable law expressly allows it. Contact hello@howmigo.com for permission requests.

## How does Howmigo make money?

Howmigo may earn money through advertising and affiliate links. Some links to tools, materials or shops are affiliate links, which means we may receive a commission if you make a qualifying purchase or take another qualifying action after following the link. This does not increase the price you pay solely because the link is an affiliate link.

Howmigo may also display advertising supplied through services such as Google AdSense.

## Do commercial relationships affect the guides?

Affiliate compensation does not determine the instructional steps in a guide. Our aim is to describe what the task requires. Where a link is commercial, we identify or explain that relationship on the site.

## Do you use cookies and tracking?

Yes, but optional categories are controlled by your consent choice. Essential storage is used for core functions and preferences. Analytics and advertising storage is denied by default until your choice permits it.

Howmigo uses Google Consent Mode v2. In advanced consent mode, Google tags may send limited cookieless measurement signals while optional storage remains denied. You can accept, reject or customise optional categories and change your choice later through **Cookie settings** in the footer. See the Cookies and Privacy policy pages for details.

## What Google services do you use?

Howmigo uses Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console and may display advertising through Google AdSense. Optional analytics and advertising processing is controlled through the applicable consent signals where required.

## Who is behind Howmigo?

Howmigo is operated by NonDucor AB, a Swedish limited company based in Härryda, Sweden. Company and contact details are available on the Contact information and Legal notice pages.
